The Indiana University Health Proton Therapy Center has taken great care in developing a list of housing options that will meet your needs. We work closely with the City of Bloomington Department of Housing and Neighborhood Development (HAND) to insure that the housing offered is in good repair, safe, and accommodates your needs. A patient concierge is available to assist you in finding housing that will meet the needs of you and your family. In addition, the concierge maintains regular contact with the property owners to insure that the utmost care is taken with our guests.

The Indiana University Health Proton Therapy Center Housing List includes a wide variety of options including hotels, apartments, condos, and campgrounds/RV parks for your stay.  (To view these files you will need Adobe Reader.)The properties are owned and operated by private individuals, leasing agencies, or nonprofit organizations. Indiana University Health Proton Therapy Center is not party to any leasing arrangement made by the patient and homeowner/landlord.

The properties are completely furnished and supplied with televisions, small kitchen appliances, bed linens, towels, and kitchen ware. Some of the properties include washers and dryers. Utility costs are included in the rate. The majority of the properties do not charge a deposit, and special rates have been negotiated.

JIll's House for patients undergoing cancer treatment at Indiana University Health Proton Therapy Center

Jill’s House is a nonprofit organization that was established in July, 2008 to provide a comfortable, affordable home-like residence for patients undergoing treatment at the Indiana University Health Proton Therapy Center. This 25 bedroom facility is equipped with many amenities of home: bedrooms with private baths, kitchens, laundry facilities, a library, playroom and chapel. Additionally, the staff and volunteers are dedicated to fostering an environment of comfort, kindness and caring for the guests they serve.

HoosiersCare is also a nonprofit organization that was established in 2002. Their purpose is to provide comfortable, affordable housing and personal support to our patients and their caregivers. The HoosiersCare properties are located in and around the Bloomington area and offer families a private, relaxed home-like setting.
