Make a Gift

As a nonprofit organization dedicated to medical, educational, scientific and charitable purposes, the Indiana University Health Proton Therapy Center can accept tax-deductible contributions. Our mission – to leverage our unique technology to improve our patients' health, and promote innovation in education and research, – is further enhanced through charitable giving.

Gifts to the IU Health Proton Therapy Center can be designated for multiple uses, including but not limited to:

  • Pediatric Goodwill Fund to provide special support to our pediatric patients including the end of treatment celebrations, the pediatric Treasure Shelf, and other special activities.
  • Patient Care Fund to help offset living expenses for patients with financial hardships and provide limited assistance for unforeseen circumstances.
  • Patient Resource Facility Fund to provide contributions or gifts in kind (ex. Wii Games, DVDs, toys, furniture) to be used in the Patient Resource Facility.
  • Research grants to provide funding for our physicians, physicists, and others to explore new opportunities for proton beam therapy and conduct clinical trials.

If you are interested in making a donation to support any of these initiatives – or if you have a specific project in mind – please contact the manager of marketing and development at 866.487.6774. We can accept:

  • Personal checks or money orders for outright gifts
  • Gifts with a MasterCard or Visa (card must processed at the IU Health Proton Therapy Center)
  • Gifts of stock, bonds or real property
  • Gifts in kind (ex. toys, gas cards, gift cards)
  • Memorial contributions
  • Gifts from an estate (ex. bequest in a Will, designee on a charitable remainder trusts or charitable gift annuity)
